My Parents’ Baby Photos

In previous posts, I’ve shared the work I am doing to organize my photos – both physical and digital, including historical and present-day photos. A great joy for me in that process has been visiting with all of the pictures in my collection, talking with my family and friends about our photos, and just having the opportunity to relive all kinds of moments. It enriches me in so many ways!

This week’s blogging prompt from Amy Johnson Crow’s “52 Ancestors in 52 Weeks” series is “Favorite Photo” and it is a perfect match given how focused I have been on ensuring my photos are organized and preserved. During the Christmas holidays, as I was working on my physical photos, I came across a picture of my mother as a very young child and loved speaking with her about it.

Well, I realized that I have pictures of both of my parents as babies!

I love that I have these pictures and I am sharing them this week as one pair of my “favorite photos.”

I’ve recently started my own Facebook group for family history & memory keeping so I invite you to come on over and share with us one of your favorite photos!
