    Text HORTON, Rev. W.Y – Departed this life Sunday, June 11, in Detroit, Mich. Survived by daughters, Mrs. Thomas Bingham of Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. Maurice Strange of Chicago, Ill.; sons, Waymon and Charles Horton of Nashville; sister, Mrs. Ruby Perrin of Nashville; many nieces, nephews; ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Patton Bros. Funeral Home and will be conveyed to Pilgrim Emanuel Baptist Church (this) Friday evening where visitation with family will be 8 to 10 p.m. Funeral services Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the above church. Rev. Michael Graves, Rev. Joe Page, Rev. James Cook and Rev. Nathaniel Mumphrey officiating. Members of the Ministerial Alliance will serve as honorary pallbearers. Mothers and ushers of the church will serve as flower ladies and deacons as active pallbearers. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Patton Brothers, Directors.
