I think that one day in another life, I could be on the radio – haha! Is it wrong of me to say that I really like how my voice sounds?
In all seriousness, I am writing this because I have had the fortunate opportunity to be a guest on another podcast! Just this past weekend I was interviewed by a local gentleman who is a retired lawyer with an interest in conservation, family history, gardening, and music. Mark Fraley is his name and he contacted me a couple of weeks ago to ask if I’d be interested in coming on his show.
And we had a blast! We talked about researching African American family history, some of the challenges that are present when pursuing that task, and spoke about the benefits of exploring our cultural pasts.
I very much enjoyed the conversation and I’d be delighted if you take a listen and hopefully you’ll enjoy it too!
You can catch the podcast on his website, markfraley.com, and while there you’ll want to check out some of the other episodes that he’s done.
Thank you Mark for the opportunity to talk about how we can research and share our family legacies – it was a lot of fun!
