My 5 Minute Photo Book

Oh my! I’ve just created a photo book in less than 5 minutes! Let me share more.

I’ve shared here on my blog before that I scrapbook throughout the year and make family yearbooks. I started doing this in 2017 and I have found it a worthwhile and meaningful way to document our memories. I use Becky Higgins’ Project Life app to make the pages.

My first yearbook was comprised of individual 12×12 page prints. Earlier this year, I tried a bound photo book instead and became sold on that format rather than page prints. So… I decided I would reprint my 2017 one as a book.

Then, the platform I use to save, organize, and share my digital photos/files, FOREVER, decided to launch a new way to make photo books and I am truly enamored; the new option is called AutoBooks.

AutoBooks lets you quickly put photos you’ve grouped together (either by album or by keyword) into a book. You select your photos, press a button, and the pictures all get automatically placed into the book pages. The feature will group multiple photos onto a page and since my scrapbook format calls for 1 “photo” per page, I am grateful that they have a handy ” split” option that will split the multiple photos on a page into one photo per page – that feature is genius!

So, I had to make a video and let you see that it really took me less than 5 minutes! The video does not have sound, but you should be able to follow along with what I’m doing.

You can learn more about the AutoBook feature on the FOREVER website. If you use my referral link to establish an account, you’ll get a $15 coupon. Combine that with their current 50% off sale (through April 13, code: HOMESAFE) and that adds up to a nice discount.

I chose FOREVER, and became and Ambassador, because of their long-term preservation commitment that enables me to rely on them as my permanent, digital home for my photos and memories, but features like this make the platform even more valuable to me personally. I have so many more ideas for using FOREVER to curate and share my family memories. I am quite excited.

    1. Hi Valerie – what a great book! I love yours!! Looks like you all had a great time in the OBX! I visited there in July 2015 with my daughter and we had a glorious few days of vacation. Thank you for sharing!
