Wordless Wednesday: PS 126

Except, I can’t do a “Wordless Wednesday” post without words – ha! My mother recently found this picture of her junior high school in the photo gallery of the New York Public Library’s Digital Collections. This is Public School 126, John Ericsson Junior High School.

Her finding prompted me to add specific events in my genealogy file to record each year she moved between schools – from elementary, to junior high, to high school. It also helped me correct the dates I had for her junior high school graduation pictures.

Do you have a timeline of your parent’s schools – or even your own? I need to do my own – I went to 12 schools between Kindergarten and 12th grade; I’ve got some work to do  🙂
